God knew Jonahs heart long before He asked him to go to Nineveh. If the truth was known in chapter 1 Jonah did not want the people of Nineveh to be saved....they were the enemy. We need to remember the gospel is for everyone....even our enemies.

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of Jonah.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.
